Marketing today has become an integral part of any business. Whether a company has to sell products or services, it needs marketing managers to keep up their sales. Marketing is a very specialized field today and needs professionals who are good at it and can manage to increase the profits of an organization. If you want to take up marketing as a subject, you should know what it takes to be a good marketing professional, what salary you can expect after a few years of experience and what job responsibilities you will be entrusted. After all these findings, if you love getting into this field, you should definitely take up MBA in marketing. 

Attitude of People in the Past: Many people in the past used to squirm at marketing professionals, because the only thing they could think about marketing was the salesperson who sold of products from door to door. However, this mentality has changed in the past decade and marketing has become a very specialized and lucrative field. 

Is this profession right for you: As a marketing professional, you will need to interact a lot with potential clients and persuade them to buy your products or services. You will also have to be very creative and be able to innovate. You might have to come up with solutions to problems. If you feel that you are good at communication skills and can interact effectively with people, like to face challenges in your profession, can innovate, then this would be the right field for you. 
What you Would be Taught: A degree in marketing will equip you with the right kind of knowledge and provide you with the right kind of skills. This will help you to gauge a better understanding of the industry requirements. It makes you confident to take the right kind of decisions and the policies, which will help your organization. The colleges teach you several things like brand management, relationship management, market research, product launch, advertising, sales, planning, promotional campaigns, logistics, etc. 

As marketing student, you will learn the four Ps of marketing; viz. product, price, promotion, place. You will also learn how to make profits even during difficult market conditions and will be required to work under pressure. 
You would be trained to become a manager and will have the ability to get promoted to senior position in an organization. However, it will be up to you how to utilize the various opportunities that come your way and how much efforts you take to make your career soar. For their marketing division, some companies prefer candidates who have an MBA degree, while many others may count experience as their deciding factor.

Scope: For many candidates who take up a job as a marketing professional, it provides them with a lot of job satisfaction. You get a lot of scope to grow in terms of position and salary. You can get bonus and benefits if you prove yourself an asset to your company. The scope growth of a marketing professional is endless. 
If you want to take up MBA in marketing, you should take admission in a good college, where you can get the required skill sets that will help you to face the challenges in the future. After you get admission, you need to work hard to gain the required knowledge that will help your dreams come true.
